Bald Eagles Dying From Lead-Poisoning

Bald eagles across the United States are dying, but it’s not from being shot at, it’s from lead poisoning. 80% of eagles have been put down because of lead poisoning. The eagles get this lead from their food because when a hunter shoots a deer or any animal, an eagle consumes the lead from the body of the animal. People are becoming more aware of the harm lead has on someone. They are asking hunters to use copper bullets instead of lead bullets. It’s important that we focus more on protecting our bald eagles on being poisoned from lead.
