If you’ve felt something was different on campus this week, it’s probably the inspirational posters and decoration to celebrate Women’s History Month! This past week, the Empowering Women Club and a lot of amazing students, spent the week decorating the campus with quotes and sayings by powerful women. We felt it was necessary to honor the women that have come before us that haven’t gotten the credit they well deserved as well as create an atmosphere on campus that can spark conversation on this important topic. Throughout the month, the Empowering Women Club will have a table every Friday at lunch with a different activity that relates to women’s history.
