Hume Lake, CA

Hume Lake is located in the Southern Sierra Nevadas, and part of the beautiful Sequoia National Park. It is often a place Christian church camps and retreats are held, or even just where road trippers or campers go to spend their summer. Fun things to do there in summer include paddleboarding and kayaking on the lake, high rope courses, and eating Hawaiian shaved ice or enjoying a Hume burger and shake at the Hume Snack Shop. In winter, fun activities are sledding and skiing, or getting a hot cup of coffee at Hume and Beans and socializing in the lobby. I have an opportunity to go to Hume Lake next week for a college youth camp, and I am excited to see the views and experience the snow for the last time before summer comes. Even in March, there is still a forecast for snow. If you need summer or winter plans, I recommend you check out Hume Lake!
