With Halloween around the corner many people are starting to brainstorm alternative ways to celebrate without risling the spread of Covid-19. Due to the pandemic the regular tradition of trick-or-treating is not the most practical idea, causing many parents to be creative.

But those who may not have the most creative ideas are still asking how to celebrate Halloween this year.

What alternatives are there?

To stay safe this fall season Halloween is going to look a bit different than it ever has been, and some safe alternative to celebrate included at home activities.

Netflix Party

One great alternative includes Netflix party, a google chrome extension. With a Netflix party friend or family and come together and watch a movie together at the same time, from the comfort of their own home. This makes a perfect Halloween movie night, or Horror movie night for those who love scary movies.

Murder Mystery

For those who may not like the idea of movies anither great alternative is an online murder mystery party. The great thing about the internet is that there are many cool games and features available to just about anyone. Gather your friends on a zoom call or google meets and start of fun game of murder mystery, or you can even play the new popular game “Amoung Us”. You can even get the “Jacks party Pack” that includes many fun online games for everyone.

Family Game Night

The final suggestion that could be used as a great alternative would be a family game night. This of course would mean members of the family would have to dress up in costumes and play their favorite games. Some board game suggestions included Clue, Monopoly, and Pandemic.

This Halloween is going to be very different than any other, and it’s important for everyone to stay safe. If you’re having trouble figuring out what you can do this Halloween, hopefully these suggestions can help.
