I concede
That I like the letter C
And the letter S,
But it’s not a contest.
In some cases
When you read S & C
In a sentence
They sound
The same.
S & C
Also often come as a set
By occupying one word simultaneously.
An example of their similarities
Is crying
Being coequal
To sadness,
Although the starting
Consonants
Don’t sound the same.
They’re comparable,
Have the same connotation,
And mean the same
When used in a confession
Of one’s own catastrophes,
But that doesn’t change
The letters S & C.
I couldn’t
Justify my satisfaction
With these simple symbols,
Unless this soliloquy
Counts?
