Three Former jail employees are currently facing criminal charges due to handcuffing inmates and making them hear “baby shark”. Christian Miles and Gregory Butler former supervisors were charged on Monday for cruelty to prisoners. At least 5 occasions around November and December, that involved at least 5 inmates in which they were investigated for 2 hours with the song “Baby Shark” playing. The song was a “joke” as Miles and Butler claim. Inmates report not having to sleep due to being caught up with the song. Christian Miles and Gregory Butler would wake up the inmates around 2-3 am in which they would put them to the wall and have the song playing through tiny speakers. Efforts to reach the Lieutenant were unsuccessful. It was unclear who was supervising the Lieutenants, but the district attorney Mr.Prater said it was “unprofessional and cruel”. For right now they have no court day, more information will be updated as this is a recent case.
