Heavy rain and flash flooding has wrecked Southeast Asia as Tropical Storm Nangka gets closer to land. The heavy rains caused landslides and deadly floods throughout Vietnam. 39 people have died due to flooding and landslides; 28 people in Vietnam, and 11 people in Cambodia. Many people are currently missing and search teams are searching throughout Vietnam and Cambodia. Cambodia has reported 25,000 houses destroyed and 84,000 hectares of crop damage. Vietnam has reported 130,000 houses damaged. Unfortunately, things are expected to get worse as rain continues to fall and Nangka gets closer.
