2020 NBA Finals/How Covid-19 Affected Sports

Man, where do I even begin? What a crazy year it has been with all the chaos going on in the world, such as Covid-19. Let’s be honest, this has to be the worst year ever. The things covid has done to the world has truly changed lives, including cancelling sports, but then continuing it months later such as basketball, baseball etc. The 2020 NBA finals is a totally weird way to watch basketball because they had to play in a certain area in Florida known as the ‘’Bubble’’. Keep in mind there are no fans, just the players and the team’s helpers. In case you had not heard the Los Angeles Lakers went up against the Miami Heat in the finals and in game 6 is where The Lakers won their 17th championship in history giving Lebron James Finals MVP, making this championship his fourth win. The finals this year was a  totally different perspective than what we were used to seeing, like the fans actually being there supporting their favorite team play ball. but unfortunately we were not able to see that this year. I highly recommend that if you didn’t watch the finals this year, definitely try to get a chance to check out basketball on TV. You might like it and it is really exciting because you never know who or what is going to happen next.
