Law School Dean Shares Private Bar Exam Results

With just a simple click of a button, everything can go terribly wrong. The Dean of South Carolina’s largest law school accidentally sent out the names of students who failed the bar exam, and bar exam grades of every student, in one email. Dean William Hubbard said he was so excited to see the email that 82% of his students passed the bar exam that he forwarded it without even noticing what was also attached to the email. The bar exam is the test students must pass if they wish to become a lawyer. The names of students who fail are never supposed to be revealed and neither are the scores for those who passed. Hubbard personally emailed every single student and has talked to them through email or by phone to make up for his mistake. Hubbard just took over as dean in August, and is even the former president of the American Bar Association.
