L.A. Dodgers in the World Series

In this year’s World Series, it came down to the MLB’s Tampa Bay Rays and the Los Angeles Dodgers for a shot at taking the championship. In game one last Tuesday, the Dodgers took the leading victory in an eight to three win over the Rays, placing them one step ahead towards the victory of the World Series. In game two, which took place the next day, the Rays found themselves in a six to four victory over the Dodgers, tying up the Series. In a back and forth manner, the next three games followed the same exact pattern with the Dodgers winning first and the Rays consistently tying the Series back up, which left the Series at 3-2 on Sunday in favor of the Dodgers. Tonight the next game of the Series takes place, and if it follows the same pattern that it has been for the entirety of it, then the Rays would win tonight’s game by tying it all up once again. The Dodgers only need one more win in order to close out the series, and they may very well break the pattern tonight. In turn, they would win the World Series for the first time since 1988.
