Google to Ban Political Ads

Starting after election day, November 3rd, Google and other social media sites plan on banning political ads in order to try and lower confusion. They are expected to be banned for a week but that can change to less or more due to the fact that more people are mailing their votes because of COVID and could mail it in on the same day rather than beforehand. Websites like YouTube have recently been showing a lot of these ads but since it is owned by Google they will no longer have political ads about the candidates until the election is over. Google has done this before when COVID first started to spread in the U.S. but they slowly lifted the ban over time, this is what to be expected to happen during this ban.
