World Series
After 32 years the Los Angeles Dodgers finally won the World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays, a very good series. The last World Series the Dodgers had won was in 1988 4-1 versus Oakland Athletics. The Dodgers had won the series in 6 games which brought the city of Los Angeles their second championship in the year of 2020, including the Lakers. In the past five years the Dodgers have been to the World Series three times 2017, 2018, and 2020 and they lost twice out of the three times being there. In 2017 they lost to the Houston Astros 4-3, but it was later discovered that the Astros cheated which led them to winning. In 2018 the Dodgers had made it to the World Series again versus the Boston Red Sox, the Dodgers lost the series 4-1. Finally after many years of getting so close to the championship the Dodgers finally won their first championship after 32 years in the crazy year of 2020.
