As President-elect Joe Biden starts his presidency off with the Coronavirus pandemic as his top priority, he will start his term by asking Americans to wear masks for one hundred days and requiring masks to be worn on federal property. This policy will be exemplified through the “100 Days Masking Challenge,” an executive order that will give public health experts a larger platform to express health recommendations that will be followed closely by federal offices and federal lands. This executive order will order federal agencies to comply with CDC guidelines related to social distancing and mask wearing within their buildings, and will encourage everyone from governors to mayors to implement public policies that will control the spread of COVID-19.
