After being delayed for months, tennis has finally been cleared to come back at El Diamante. Students were required to turn in their physical as always, but a COVID waiver was also required this year. To ensure social distancing is kept in place, there are four separate pods. Each pod is labeled after a different letter in our school acronym P.I.C.K. The Perseverance pod is for the girl returners, and the Integrity pod is from the boy returners. The Courage pod is for newcomers to girls tennis, and the Kindness pod is for newcomers to the boys tennis team. The people in each pod do not mix with those in the other pods, and everyone is required to wear a mask at all times, even when playing. Tennis at El Diamante is taking all the precautions to ensure safety on the courts.
