Sarah’s phone is ringing in her hands as she stares at it trying to take in all the stuff that’s happening. She shakes her head trying to shake the thoughts out and answers her phone, Joshua is silent at first trying to get the right words out. Sarah waits for him to speak but notices he won’t till she says something first so she says the only thing she can right now “Josh, what’s going on?” Josh starts talking fast stating what Sarah heard on the news, she lets him talk describing all the things they need to do to be safe when he gets home. Josh had to hang up fast to leave and get home, Sarah is still in shock but a big bang snaps her out of it. She looks out the window again seeing people dropping on the ground and cars crashing into each other; as another car crashes Sarah turns and runs into her room and starts packing her clothes with everything else they would need for the road. Her head spinning like crazy she gets done with packing, putting everything by the front door, she paces back and forth and checks the time seeing it’s only 12:45 and Josh should be home in a couple of minutes.
She takes a deep breath trying to calm down sitting on the couch, well waiting she falls asleep on the couch waiting for Josh to come home.
