Without a doubt, iCarly was one of the most influential shows for today’s teenagers and young adults. The show first aired in 2007 on Nickelodeon and was created by Dan Schneider. Schneider is also known for many other hit shows on the channel such as Drake & Josh, Victorious, and Zoey 101. The show was full of wacky, random content that helped pave the way for a lot of our senses of humor. Together, Carly Shay, Sam Puckett, and Freddie Benson find success in their new webshow. Throughout the series, they find ways to reach new audiences, engage with their viewers, or even deal with being trapped in crazy fans’ basements. Many of these episodes still stick with old watchers today. I always find myself referencing its jokes, as it has a very sweet spot in my heart. I was only three years old when the show aired.
Earlier this year, it was announced that iCarly would be getting a reboot on the new streaming service Paramount+. Following that announcement, we learned the original show’s first two seasons would be coming to Netflix on February 8, 2021. This was big news for me as well as thousands of others. Considering iCarly was one of the most successful Nickelodeon shows, people needed this badly. Here is a top ten list of my personal favorite episodes of the show.

10. iFind Lewbert’s Lost Love (2009)

9. iMeet Fred (2009)

8. iDate a Bad Boy (2009)

7. iPsycho (2010)

6. iGoodbye (2012)

5. iPilot (2007)

4. iGot Detention (2008)

3. iParty with Victorious (2011)

2. iWant More Viewers (2007)

1. iSpy a Mean Teacher (2007)
