Millennials have recently become fed up with Gen Z and their style preferences. The main argument for debate is over skinny jeans and side parts. Gen Z has labeled the side part and skinny jeans “uncool”. They see it as outdated and something typically worn by only older generations. Instead of skinny jeans, mom or boyfriend jeans are the new craze and middle hair parts have replaced the side part. Millennials are not happy with the new baggy jeans and middle parts that Gen Z now views as trendy and popular. Many Millennials do not wish to give up their skinny jeans and side parts; Gen Z however does not care if they do or don’t. It has become a joke recently claiming how you can tell the difference between the older and younger generations through their style. The argument is quite one sided however, considering Millennials are only mad at this because they do not want to be labeled as old by the younger generations.
