Tulare man stabbed in cemetery, suspect “implicates” himself in crime

Monday morning officers were called for a reported stabbing in the cemetery, which has left one man dead and another man behind bars. As for now Tulare Police Department released few details on the investigation or the incident. Around 12:23 p.m Officers received a call of a “man down” where a 53-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. Jerome Parker was stabbed where he was later transferred to a hospital where he died. Officers later discovered another man near the cemetery in which he was investigated and was noted for his behavior as “nervous and erratic”. After the investigation Larry Anthony Johnson was arrested for the murder of Jerome Parker. The 41-year-old man was booked into Tulare County Pretrial on suspicion of homicide. Johnson’s bail is set at $1 million. Motives are still unknown.
