As the red tier has been shifted from 10 to 7, Visalia Unified School District has begun to put into action the bringing back of students. Students now have an option to go full distance still, or return to in person school. Schools are bringing in air purifiers, hand sanitizers, and desk wipes as safety measures to ensure students and staff can safely return to school. They are also spacing desks 6 feet away and making sure everyone will have their own materials so there is no need for materials to go from one student to another possibly spreading the virus. It is thought that schools will return right before Spring break and will spend the rest of the school year in in person schooling, as long as numbers continue to comply.
