Isabella Guzman is a 25 year-old female who had been held in prison for six years now. Recently, TikTok has been overflowing with videos of Guzman in court where she was giving the camera and audience attitude and rude facial expressions. Six years ago, Isabella brutally murdered her mother, Yun Mi Hoy, in her own bathroom. Moments before this had happened, her father, Robert Guzman, had a nice conversation with Isabella in the backyard. Isabella had a pattern of being super rude to her family and disobeying. She also sent threatening text messages and emails to her mother that Yun Mi previously had to call the cops about. He thought he actually put her in a good place this time. He thought she was becoming nice and actually going to start working on herself. Isabella put on a show for her father. What Robert had told her, really only made matters worse. It angered Isabella. When Isabella went home, her stepdad, Ryan Hoy, made dinner for the family. Isabella refused to leave her bedroom. After dinner, Yun Mi went upstairs to take a shower before bed. Suddenly, Ryan heard a loud thud. He ran upstairs and for a split second before the door slammed shut he saw Isabella and Yun Mi in the bathroom. He tried opening the door but Isabella was too strong. He was terrified and ran to call 911. The thuds got louder and he could hear his wife whimpering. He then saw a puddle of blood coming out from under the door. Right before Isabella opened the door, all he could hear was Yun Mi say, “Jehova” then there was silence. The door slowly opened and Ryan thought he was going to be her next victim but she walked out of that room and walked right past him like nothing ever happened. She looked normal and not traumatized at all. He ran into the bathroom and tried to save her but it was too late. She was barely recognizable. She had over 79 stab wounds in only her neck and face. When the cops showed up they couldn’t find her. The next morning someone called the cops thinking they found a dead body in a car, but when they showed up it was Isabella Guzman asleep in the same clothes she wore when the murder happened. When she went to court, she blamed it on her hallucination and schizophrenia. She was sentenced to 27 years in prison and treatment for her mental issues. TikTok users are trying to get justice for her because they don’t think it was her fault and they think she’s “too pretty” to be in prison. They claim it was self defense. All of this is causing Isabella’s time to most likely shorten when she shouldn’t be let out.
