Ingredients:
2 eggs
¼ cup of vanilla oat milk (can be substituted, but i found i like this one the most)
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
½ tablespoon of ground cinnamon
4 pads of softened butter
3 tablespoons of olive oil
2 pinches of salt
powdered sugar
butter rich syrup
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl add your eggs, almond milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon and whisk until combined. Then turn on the stove at medium heat and add 1 ½ tablespoons of olive oil then 1 pad of butter and shake the pan until the bottom is evenly covered. Dunk one side of your buttermilk bread into the mixture in the mixing bowl and then flip and repeat. Add egg soaked bread into the frying pan and lightly shake every 30-45 seconds. After 1:30-2 minutes, flip bread over and repeat the process but this time it’ll take about 1-1:30 minutes. Repeat with as many pieces as you wish. Once out of the pan, spread 1 pad of butter on one side, add a pinch of salt, and top with powdered sugar and warmed syrup to taste. Then enjoy.
