For the past week Colombians have been protesting against recent tax reforms. Over 42.5% of people living in Colombia live in poverty. The recent tax reforms make it harder than it already is for everyone to live. So they took to the streets to protest against the government for change. It has not been peaceful. Police are seen shooting at unarmed protesters, firing tear gas, beating  protesters, and more. 24 deaths have been confirmed but it could be as high as 40. Nearly 100 people are missing after the protests and around 800 injured. The government isn’t going to stop soon and things are going to get worse.
