My parents gave me a choice for my sixteenth birthday. Either I have a big party or go on a trip and I didn’t really care for a party so I chose the trip. Well I’m seventeen now because Covid-19 hit the summer we were supposed to go, so my mom decided we could go to Tulum, Mexico for both my birthday and graduation. I’m so excited because I’ve never been out of state or country. I’ve also never been on a plane, but it looks terrifying, yet beautiful. I have seen many pictures of Tulum and it is absolutely beautiful. I’m so excited to be going. Hopefully Covid-19 has cleared up a lot more by then. I already believe it’s gonna be a trip I’ll never forget. I also have family in Mexico that I’ve never met, so it’ll be nice to finally meet them. I’m super, super grateful that my parents can make this happen for me. I’ll never be able to thank them enough.
