The St. Johns Country Sheriff’s office has said that there are many social media accounts trying to gain fame from the murder of Tristyn Bailey, posing as “tipsters” who provide false information to gain followers on their accounts.
The police department has a suspect in custody and a search warrant for his house due to a video taken of him and the victim walking around town together in the early hours of the morning. The victim was found 0.3 miles from where the suspect lives which is also another reason as to why the police are investigating him further and believe him to be the murderer of Tristyn Bailey.
