So you want to learn about what is up with Marvel? As we know Marvel is starting on movies in Phase 4. Some of the movies that have already come out or are confirmed are Black Widow, Eternals, WandaVision, Loki, Shang-chi: The Legend of the Ten Rings, Spider-Man: No way home and What if…?, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Thor: Love and Thunder, Hawkeye and to finish it off Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness. There are still some movies you can find online that may be coming out in Phase 4 too.
In each movie we may see cameos of other Marvel characters, as Marvel is known to have hints and little clues that keep us guessing what will happen next. In one of the newest movies in Phase 4, Black Widow, we know that Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff was a trained assassin as was her sister, Yelena Belova. For those who haven watched Black Widow, a little run down of it is that years later after Yelena and Natasha have been separated they find and help each other to take down Dreykov. An evil man who made women into trained assassins since they were little.
Continuing about Black Widow, the actor Scarlett Johansson recently has been wanted to sue Disney+. Why may you ask? Well her new movie was a hit and she got $20 million from it. Disney took about $50 million from her for violating her contract. Her contract said that she didn’t want the Black Widow movie to be put on Disney+ at the same time it came out in theaters. For the people who have Disney+ you know that we have access to purchase new movies when they come out. The money that people paid for Black Widow Disney never gave to her, hence why Disney took about $50 million.
Going back to talking about cameos, since Disney technically owns Marvel Entertainment Disney told Kevin Feige, the producer of Marvel, to not have Scarlett Johansson in any more movies. Kevin Feige still wants to work with Scarlett but due to her suing she wouldn’t be coming back.
The newest Phase 4 movie coming out is Shang-Chi: The Legend of the Ten Rings, premieres in theaters on September 3, 2021. You know you can catch me at the movies that day!!
