On the evening of Thursday August 26th, the EL D JV volleyball team took on a strong battle against Atascadero in their game. The El D team started off with a very strong defense and had Isabella Arbizo as their libero. There were some great hits from Amber Dresp and Gracie Rivas, and they scored many points. Half way through the first game Amber Dresp made a fantastic block, and scored a point for our team. There were many rallies going on back and forth, and it was a great battle. After many great hits and digs, El Diamante won the first match with a very good lead. Entering the second game was an outside hitter Rylee O’Rafferty, and the libero Briannah Perry. Lexi Rios did a great job as a setter, and she made sure to get the ball up for the teammates to hit. Overall everyone did a great job working together and not giving up. Anna Arbizo scored the last point hitting it over, and the El D team took the win. The El Diamante JV volleyball team is now 3-0 in their season, and doing a great job working together.
