Due to Covid a lot of things have changed in our lives, one of them being our El Diamante school rallies. Rallies are to prepare us for our games, bring us together as a school and it’s about having fun. Unfortunately covid took that away from us so now our rallies have to be live streamed from our home rooms until covid gets better.
I wouldn’t say it’s the worst but it could definitely be better. The cameras are laggy, no one is actually really there watching and it just takes the fun away. Speaking for myself and my school I know we would prefer all of us being there together. The freshman or even sophmores have not experienced an actual rally with us yet.
Not to mention we are one of the only schools in visalia that do our rallies live instead of being in person. Understandable in a way though because two of the other schools have their own stadium so that gives them the advantage to have their rallies outside us on the other hand don’t have our own stadium so live rallies would be the only other option.
Although, we are lucky we get to continue to have our rallies even though it’s not the same as it was, eventually we will be able to go back to how things once were with time going on. Until then we as a school will make the best of what we have now.
