As the weather cools down, I tend to spend more time inside than outside. This October I am challenging myself to pick up a book rather than my phone. I have created a reading list of books I want to have read by the end of the month. Here is my fall reading list!
- Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly – Hidden Figures is about the black female mathematicians who worked at NASA during the Space Race and their stories. The movie that is based on the book came out in 2016.
- The Secret Lives of Color by Kassia St. Clair – This is definitely a book for artists. The Secret Lives of Color is about the stories behind different colors. In this book, the reader can learn about the history behind the colors and what they meant at the time.
- Love and Olives by Jenna Evans Welch – If you love Mama Mia!, you’ll probably love this book. Welch writes an adorable love story that will leave you smiling and rushing to book a flight to Greece.
