The constant want and demand for sports statistics is an everlasting motion. Athletic statistics outline faults that need improvements, the win to loss ratio of a given team, and even help create predictions for what might happen to a team next. The numeral facts and statistics help us realize how good a team is doing and how they might perform against other teams. Currently El Diamante’s football team has won 2 games and lost 4 games. El Diamante took victory over Tulare Union and Madera. El Diamante High School has lost to Clovis North, Dinuba, Stockdale, and Hanford. Just because El Diamante has lost more than they have won, doesn’t mean there is still victory in their grasp. El Diamante just started playing for points in league and they put up quite a fight against Hanford last week. Although Hanford came out on top; the difference in points was pretty close. This week the Miners play Lemoore, on Lemoore’s turf. Although Lemoore has an excellent football team, our boys are hungry and ready to start tallying up those points for WYL. Three more notable games that will be very excellent to watch include El Diamante vs Mt Whitney on 10/15, El Diamante vs Redwood on 10/22, and El Diamante vs Golden West on 10/29. Our team statically is very well rounded on both sides of the ball. El Diamante is ready to put up a fight and they have the heart to get there. Although statistics may apply digital limits to El Diamante’s performance; the team is still very capable of bringing home some more victories for their school.
