Arroz Con Leche Recipe

Cold weather is something I absolutely love, but I do like to keep warm. Something that keeps me warm is eating Arroz Con Leche.

Ingredients:

7 cups of water

1 cup white rice

Cinnamon sticks

One 12-ounce can of evaporated milk

One 14-ounce can of condensed milk

1 cup whole milk

Steps:

1- First you want to add water, rice and cinnamon sticks to the pan and cook on medium-high heat. Let it cook for about 16-18 minutes.

2- You then want to carefully drain the liquid from the pan and remove the cinnamon sticks. Leaving the rice in the pan, put all three milks into it- evaporated milk, condensed milk, and whole milk.

3-Turn the heat to low and cook for about 20 minutes. You want to stir constantly as the milk can burn easily. It’s important to keep stirring as it thickens.

4- Then pour into bowls and enjoy. You can also add things like cinnamon, raisins, honey and coconut.
