Dodgers Upset the Giants To Move On

The Dodgers vs Giants came down to the final game in the divisional series. The five game series came down to last night. A score of 2:1 Dodgers win. It was a close game in the top of the sixth and the bottom runs were scored from the Dodgers the run was scored by Corey Seager hitting Mookie Betts in. From the Giants, the run was a home run from Darin Ruf to silence the Dodgers. In the top of the ninth inning, after Camilo Doval got Will Smith to ground out to first to start the inning, he hit Justin Turner with a pitch. Turner advanced to second on a single by Gavin Lux, and then disaster struck for the Giants when Cody Bellinger, the 2019 Most Valuable Player Award winner, singled to right, scoring a run. Cody Bellinger hit a single to score a run. At the end of the game Max Swerzer had the biggest reaction to the win and was super fired up after closing the game and sealing the win for the Dodgers. Both teams have used their aces and the Dodgers will struggle in the next series they play in. The Dodgers will be playing the Atlanta Braves and the Dodgers starting pitching will struggle after having pitched Swerzer and Julio Urias as relief pitchers. Tomorrow, Saturday, the series starts at 5:07 PM with the first game in Atlanta.
