Left 4 Dead 2 has to be one of the best Zombie games ever. This game was released in November of 2009 and has been amazing ever since release. Something about this game is just amazing and it never gets boring and it has a fantastic story and amazing production ranging from amazing campaigns to being able to play as the infected in Left 4 Dead 2. This game is obviously the sequel to Left 4 Dead 1 in which new survivors and more special infected are introduced. Left 4 Dead 2 was made by Valve which are also popular for their other games like Team Fortress 2, Portal 2, Half-Life 2, and even games that their workers made like GMod. This game is truly a masterpiece
Left 4 Dead 2 is a multiplayer Zombie game where you can even play as Special Infected like the Tank, Boomer, Hunter, Jockey, Witch, Smoker, Spitter, and the Charger. There are 4 survivors you can play as, which are Ellis, Coach, Nick, and Rochelle (My personal favorite character is Coach). These four survivors are big characters in the gaming community and they show up in many youtube videos even as props in other video games. Valve and this game have made a big impact on the gaming community and showed how a Zombie game should be made.
There are also a range of campaigns and levels in the game which are very diverse and fun to play like Dead Center, Dark Carnival, Swamp Fever, Hard Rain, and The Parish. These maps are extremely fun to play and even have different themes to them like Dead Center is where you have to escape a burning Hotel and fight your way through streets of a town to make it to a mall where you have to find gas cans to fuel up a sports car, and then there is Dark Carnival in where you have to make your way through a town and a Carnival and make it to a concert in where you have to fight in that concert and wait for a helicopter to pick you up. These campaigns are really fun and very replayable. There are even DLC campaigns you can buy if you’re on Xbox (there free on PC), and these DLC campaigns bring back the old Left 4 Dead 1 campaigns and even adds two new maps called The Sacrifice and Cold Stream.
The very special part about Left 4 Dead 2 is that you can play as the special infected like explained in paragraph two. This aspect of Left 4 Dead 2 makes the game very fun to play and honestly one of the best games of the 2010s decade. Every special infected has their own abilities to take down the survivors and it really makes the game re-playable and enjoyable. These special infected are also classics when it comes to gaming videos and things like that, they’re constantly used for memes and videos in GMOD. Left 4 Dead 2 is truly a masterpiece in my opinion. Left 4 Dead 2 is personally my favorite game of all time, not even in the Zombie game genre just in video games. Left 4 Dead 2 is the perfect Zombie game and I personally would give it a 11/10 in rating. Valve did such a good job making this game just like there other projects and I really like the production of this game and everything about it just makes the game amazing and I feel like if anybody was interested in a fun and a good zombie game I would say that this game is the best choice if that person had a Xbox or a PC. Left 4 Dead 2 is truly a masterpiece of a game and everything about the game is fun and re-playable.
