California is trying to mandate the COVID Vaccine in public schools. I believe this is unnecessary because it should be a personal choice what goes into your own body. Everything else is free rights, why can’t the vaccine be free rights? Starting in January, they are adding it to the lists of shots that people must get to attend public school. This makes sense to add it for the new students to take, but if it is required in high school to get the vaccine in order to go to the next year after we have already taken our shots, it is extremely unnecessary and unfair. Some people have health issues or unknown health issues and if they get the vaccine unaware of their issues, it could affect the person in a very negative way. The government has not done enough research on the vaccine and how it can mix with other prescriptions. The vaccine could cause someone’s medication to cancel out without even realizing it. Along with this, if someone has COVID and doesn’t know it and they go to get the vaccine, the vaccine is killing off every COVID cell, including the antibodies and can harm the person extremely. If someone previously had COVID, the vaccine will attack the already made antibodies. I think the vaccine was made way too quickly and no other vaccine has reacted this way to people. Nobody even knows that much about COVID like they do with the Flu or other illnesses. It has been causing heart failure, and a bunch more illnesses to people who have taken that vaccine. We have no idea why, but it could have something to do with the quickness of the vaccine, the prescription the person is on, the previous antibodies or even the genetics of the person. The vaccination should not have to be mandatory if someone doesn’t feel safe or okay with taking it. Our bodies are our bodies and we should get to decide what happens to it. No one should get to tell us otherwise or try to force something upon us that we don’t feel comfortable with.
