Serena Williams is one of the most talented, hard-working, dedicated women in sports today. She is one of the best tennis players in the world. She’s been playing tennis since she was 14 years old. Serena is now 39 years old so she has been playing tennis for 25 years. Even after 25 years of playing tennis she still continues to play which shows her dedication and how much hard work she has put into being the best tennis player.

Serena was able to break Chris Evert’s U.S. Open match with the record of 102nd career victory at the Grand Slam, beating countrywoman Kristie Ahn in the first round. Afterward, she got 117th-ranked Russian Margarita Gasparyan in 2017. She still continues to beat records until this day as she gets better and better.

She made a difference on Feb 3rd at the Super Bowl, when she announced that she had a message to deliver to all women and that message was, “We’re living in a world and society where people are starting to see differently and starting to understand that we are just as strong and just as smart and just as savvy and just as businesslike as any other male in this world.” She’s proving the point that we should never be ashamed to go after what we want, which was really able to touch women’s hearts. Ever since that speech Serena was also known as “the ultimate first mover”.
