Rice Krispy treats are a childhood treasure. Why not recreate the crunchy treat at home to go with your hot chocolate during the colder season.
Ingredients
- 3 tb butter
- 1 package (10 oz., about 40) JET-PUFFED Marshmallows or 4 cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
- 6 cups Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal
Directions
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Proceed to pour marshmallows into the saucepan and stir till completely melted. Remove the saucepan from heat.
- Mix Kellogg’s rice krispies cereal until completely coated in marshmallow mixture.
- Spray 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan with cooking spray
- Use a spatula to press mixture to press mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
- Let cool completely.
- Cut into small squares and enjoy!
