Jawbone Canyon: Thanksgiving Break

For Thanksgiving break my family and I went to Jawbone Canyon with our family friends. All together we both took the Talon 2 seater, Suzuki quad and a Polaris 4 seater rzr. On Tuesday we went to Red Rock Canyon that isn’t far from Jawbone. We adventured in front of the Red Rock Canyon and found a small cave.

We all had fun until Friday we went for a long ride from Jawbone to Randsburg which is a ghost town. As we went for a drive, one of our friends rode the Suzuki and the road was very dusty and bumpy. Once we were on the road he got a big wooden stick stuck into his back tire which he got a flat tire. For 2 hours we had to wait for his dad to go back to the Jawbone store and buy a new back tire. As we got there we got hamburgers and sasparillas rootbeer for an early dinner. For the most of the week, we would drive around Jawbone. The night before our last day being in Jawbone we had a big fire because most of the nights we couldn’t since every night it was windy to the point we could not keep the fire going.

Friday and Saturday the Jawbone store was having a concert going on. Some of us went and we got some souvenirs. Also for one of the days, we got Starbucks.

Overall, I would say it was a good camping trip and it would be the last one for this year.
