Recently in the VUSD school district, we have been seeing a huge rise in covid cases. In almost every class I am in, we are missing almost half of the students. But what does this mean for the future of our school? So far there has been no change to our policy and people are still not being super strict about wearing their masks. I am constantly in classes with kids who are pulling their masks down for no reason at all or just keeping them below their noses. The teachers are no longer being super strict about it, and I believe that this is the real reason for the recent rise of covid. Some people may excuse it to the cold weather, but I don’t believe that this is the case. Remember to be responsible and wear your mask! If you need a break, step outside and make sure you’re away from other people before you take it off. Don’t be selfish!
