The 2021-2022 school year has definitely been pretty inconsistent regarding our rallies. However, I think this time El D has finally figured it out. We started the year off with an outdoor rally, broadcasted to the entity of the school’s homerooms. That later evolved into your typical crowded in-person rally in the gym with all classes involved. The most recent Winter rally, though, was for the class of ‘22 (the best class of course) to watch in person only, while the events were still live-streamed to the rest of the school. This method was perfect in allowing for everyone to participate, keeping students moderately safe, and rewarding the senior class for the last four years of hard work. For those who paid close attention, you would have noticed that for once the gym was silent during the choir’s National Anthem. I think we can all figure out why that is. Everyone did an amazing job, and the school spirit was definitely there. I’d love to see these rallies continue for the rest of the school year.
