Review:

Ruin and Rising was everything I expected and more. I am sad to say that I have finished the Grisha Trilogy, but on the bright side, I am just beginning Six of Crows, another book published by Leigh Bardugo, which is a continuation of the series. The storyline and the plot in Ruin and Rising were the easiest to read out of the entire trilogy. The book was fast-paced and consisted of constant action-packed chapters that kept me engaged. I said this before but, I love, love Tolya and Tamar. I will continue to adore their bond, and I am glad that most chapters featured them. The characters developed so much in this book. I enjoyed reading along and following their journey. I was happy to see all the secondary/main characters brought closer. Ruin and Rising was my favorite book in the series. My favorite thing about this book was the plot twists. I was genuinely surprised, and I usually think most plot twists are predictable. The end of the trilogy left me feeling a whirlwind of emotions but mostly acceptance for the only ending that was bound to happen. Overall, Ruin and Rising was a great book, and I recommend it.
