- Taylor has a very diverse discography. There’s an album for all different music tastes! Most artists only stick to one genre their whole career, but Taylor has branched out to many different genres.
- Taylor speaks her mind, even when it’s unpopular and controversial. She once said, “I want to love glitter and also stand up for the double standards that exist in our society. I want to wear pink and tell you how I feel about politics and I don’t think those things have to cancel each other out”. Talk about inspiring and empowering.
- Her songs are emotionally raw and very relatable. Whether you just went through a nasty breakup or got stabbed in the back, Taylor gets it! She’s able to vocalise your feelings when you can’t find the words to.
- Although some would like to disagree, Miss Swift writes her songs herself. She obviously has co-writers, but her songs are original and inspired by her personal experiences.
- Taylor has classy comebacks to drama that are not problematic. After the 2009 VMAs incident with Kanye West, Taylor chose to respond with kindness in her song “Innocent”.
- Tay is the owner of three adorable Scottish fold cats: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button. The cats make appearances on Taylor’s social media accounts, her music videos, and the occasional commercial.
- Taylor has organised her music career into eras. About every two years, she moves onto another era. The eras are based on her albums and they are so iconic!
- Billboard’s “Woman of the Decade” also has impeccable style. Whether Tay is walking the red carpet or taking a stroll in the city, she always looks gorgeous and put-together.
- Taylor Swift has an amazing relationship with her fan base, who are better known as Swifties! She is never shy to thank her fans after winning an award and never hesitates to interact with her Swifties.
- She keeps her relationship with Joe Alwyn on the down low. They have been dating for around 5 year now and have only given fans small glimpses into that aspect of their life. It’s very admirable how Joy and Tay manage their relationship.
- Taylor has an amazing vocal range. It’s amazing to see how much her vocals have grown since her debut album. In “folklore” and “evermore”, we got to see Taylor explore her lower range and it was absolutely stunning!
- Taylor knows how to do a live show and they’re always spectacular. Throughout her long career, she has sold out over 100 stadium concerts. Her live performances are packed with medleys of her many hits, and amazing special effects. The best part? Tay sounds the exact same (if not better) live as she does in the studio.
- And finally reason 13 (her lucky number), Taylor is reclaiming her stolen art. Her old record company and manager own her old albums and Taylor is determined to get her masters back. In her rerecordings, there will be tracks from the vaults. This is a big undertaking for Swift, but her fan base has been fully supportive. So far, we have “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)”, “Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version)”, and “Red (Taylor’s Version)”!
