Wednesday evening marked the fourth track meet of the season for the El Diamante track team. The meet took place at CVC High School and started around 3:30pm. This particular meet was very special because it was El Diamante’s only quad meet of the season. This meet also gave El Diamante a peek at the competition for the CVC Invitational following a few weeks later. The other participating schools included Central Valley Christian, Minarets, Mission Oak, and Woodlake. Men’s and Women’s varsity teams both demolished the scoreboard between all 5 teams competing. The placing for the Men’s Varsity teams included El Diamante (135), Minarets (55), Mission Oak (52.5), CVC (33.5), and Woodlake (16). The placing for the Women’s Varsity teams included El Diamante (119), Mission Oak (68), CVC (51), Minarets (36), and Woodlake (5). With these statistics being stated, El Diamante secured a complete blowout victory against the 4 other competing schools.
