March 12th, 2022 was the official day the mask mandate was lifted to all schools in California. With this exciting news, many students were very happy to not have to wear a mask to be in a classroom and finally had the freedom of choice. Masks are now optional to everyone and some choose to keep them on while others don’t. Now that the majority of students and even teachers don’t wear them, we are able to see people’s faces and expressions. This new change is a big change and has a positive impact on many. Students haven’t been able to have a completely normal school year since 2 years ago, and as of March 11th, it’s starting to go back to normal.
