As we all know, just recently in VUSD the mask mandate was lifted, meaning that wearing masks in class is now optional. Before this took place, I was personally against it because I thought that it was irresponsible to not wear a mask. On Monday, when I walked into school, I saw that most people decided to not wear masks and I felt out of place wearing mine. When I took mine off, I actually enjoyed not having to have my face covered. Of course, I’m still going to be responsible about it and put it on if I feel sick, but since I’m vaccinated and I have my booster shot, I’m going to continue to do what I’m doing.
