Review: After reading the Shadow and Bone trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, I decided to dive deeper into the Grishaverse and read Six of Crows. It’s been a couple of weeks since I finished the book, but I still cannot get over it. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo is the first book of the duology with Crooked Kingdom following after. I had very high expectations because of all the positive reviews I would hear about it. While I was reading the book, I fell into a reading slump, so it took me a lot longer than I anticipated, but I don’t believe it impacted my feelings toward the book. I loved the plot, I loved the trope, and I especially loved the characters. One of my favorite characters is Nina Zenik, a former Corporalnik Grisha Soldier from Ravka who joined the Dregs. She’s a fierce and powerful heart render who will do anything for the people she loves. My favorite thing about Six of Crows was the storyline. It was easy to read and understand, and the book had so much action, so I was constantly amused and excited to keep reading. Overall, Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo was an incredible read! I believe that it was well written, and I can’t wait to learn more about the crows and what happens next in the Crooked Kingdom.
