The U.S. Supreme Court could have a new judge taking a seat very soon. Joe Biden’s Supreme Court Judge nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson, is a very well-qualified candidate for this position due to the wide range of knowledge she has gained throughout her education and career. Jackson’s experience includes being a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, being a Judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, being a Vice-Chair of the U.S. Sentencing Commission, being a Public Defender, and being a Supreme Court Clerk. If Jackson does get put on the U.S. Supreme Court, she would be the first Black woman to sit on the nation’s top court.
