Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt
- ½ cup of butter softened
- 2 large eggs
- 3 to 4 ripe bananas mashed
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¾ teaspoon of salt
For the glaze:
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- Grease a 9 by 13-inch pan with cooking spray
- In a large bowl cream together butter and sugar
- Beat in the yogurt, eggs, bananas, and vanilla extract
- Add the flour, baking soda, and salt
- Mix just until moistened
- Stir in walnuts
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan
- Bake for 23 to 28 minutes
Frosting:
- Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat
- Allow the butter to simmer until it starts to brown slightly and immediately remove from heat
- Whisk in the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon of milk until smooth
- Pour the warm frosting over the warm bars
