The US Acknowledged Damage to Dinosaur Tracks in Utah

Recently dinosaur tracks that are dated to be from roughly 112 million years ago were trampled by heavy-duty machinery that was being used to rebuild a popular boardwalk. Although the damage is minor and the tracks are overall still visible, many are saying that even the minor damage is a travesty and even the most minor offense is still tainting what little historical record we have of these prehistoric animals. But the site overall has been deemed one of the most important and notable areas for dinosaur tracks in the entirety of the United States, with reports saying that there are tracks from 10 different species of dinosaur visible in the area. The building project is scheduled to be re-evaluated, with areas being marked for workers as to where they can and cannot go so that they don’t further destroy any of these tracks.
