During his court evidence on Wednesday, actor Johnny Depp laughed off the idea that his numerous quarrels with ex-wife Amber Heard would ever lead to him hitting her. “Violence isn’t necessary,” he testified against Heard during his libel suit. “What makes you think you’d attack someone to get them to agree with you?” Heard has accused Depp of assaulting her physically and sexually on numerous occasions both before and during their brief marriage. Heard claims the first time she was abused was in 2013 when Depp slapped her after she made fun of a tattoo he had that stated “Winona Forever.” The claimed attack, ”that didn’t happen.” he said of the alleged assault. “Why would I take such great offense to someone making fun of a tattoo on my body? That allegation never made any sense to me.”
