you had rather die than see me make it to high school
so many things have happened without you here
and quite honestly
i’m happy that you’re gone

i’m graduating soon
and you won’t be there
i’m thinking of all of the things you missed
all of the things you will miss
all because you chose a glass bottle over me

i hope in your last moments you regretted your decision
i hope you could’ve turned back the clock and changed your mind
why did you have to make the selfish decisions you made
