Mrs. Farias is one of the newest additions to the El Diamante staff and family. She has been a school psychologist for 15 years and has worked for several different school districts within our area. These districts include Fresno County Office of Education, Madera Unified School District, and Kings Canyon Unified School District. She has now been working within VUSD for 5 years.
While Mrs. Farias is a school psychologist, there is much more to her. Some of her hobbies include walks on the beach, reading, and hiking. She is married and has two children who are both daughters. One of her daughters also works in the education field and is currently a kindergarten teacher for Salinas Unified School District. Mrs. Rivas’s favorite thing about El D so far is the staff who have welcomed her warmly with open arms. She also enjoys the sense of community our students have created. As a closing statement, Mrs. Farias has something she would like all of our students to know. She wanted to make it known that “their school psychologist is a wonderful resource and a support member…eager to help and be part of the El Diamante community.”
